Walk description:  A  circular walk of about 4 miles (2 hours) on footpaths, tracks and minor roads with views of Tavy and Tamar Valley, returning to the start for lunch.

Park :- Bere Alston SX 453 668 (Car park at Bere Alston Recreation Ground on the The Down, Follow signs to Weir Quay).

Cross Recreation Ground and make for the footpath in the far left corner, follow the path to the road.  Cross into road opposite and turn left into drivesigned Thornhill.  Keep ahead through gate under trees marked County.  Follow this beside hedge accross 3 fields then turn left through gate to Leigh Farm.

Follow access road uphill to Hunders Oak and cross into the road.  Follow this road to junction with B3257 and cross into Bridleway opposite. After coffee continue downhill to road, then turn left uphill along road to crossroads, continue ahead on road for approx 1.5km.  Then at next crossroads ahead to B3257 and cross The Down and return to the cars for lunch.

Please bring a packed lunch, drinks and snacks. .

Walking shoes or boots recommended. Sorry no dogs, except registered assistant ones kept on a lead. Non members £3.00
